Circuit Breaker  :

Electrical circuit breaker is used for protection of devices. Circuit breaker are operated automatically when the excess current flow in the circuit.  Once excess current fault is detected, Circuit breaker operated.
Circuit breaker available in different ratings and sizes.

Circuit breakers are used in operation depend upon the current ratings.

Circuit Breakers are :

1.Miniature Circuit Breaker ( MCB )
2.Molded Case Circuit Breaker ( MCCB )
3.Air Circuit Breaker ( ACB )
4. Vacuum Circuit Breaker ( VCB )
5. SF6 ( Sulfur Hex-fluoride Circuit Breaker )

Circuit breaker are used depend upon current ratings :

1.Miniature Circuit Breaker ( MCB )

"Current rating not more than 100 A".

2.Molded Case Circuit Breaker ( MCCB )
"Current rating upto 800 A "

3.Air Circuit Breaker ( ACB )

 "Current rating upto 4000 A

4.Vacuum Circuit Breaker ( VCB )
